Who we are
ANCHORED IN LOVE is a mission to call every human being on the earth that’s willing to heed the call to Anchor themselves in the love of Jesus Christ. In the midst of every trial, challenge, pain, sorrow, or difficulty we face, our Faith is in the love that God has for us. This mission longs to serve God while serving others through whatever means necessary. Are you ready to lay down your life for others to see God glorified?? “And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:13
About us
Anchored In Love is a small but growing community dedicated to reaching out to those in need. Leading the way is Minister Skyler Mitcham our CEO, Typhany Nordeen our Treasurer and Bible Study Director, and Nicole Garza and Phyllis Hutto, who help create outreach programs to better serve our community.

Helping the community
Our #1 priority is sharing the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with all those we come in contact with to bring hope and salvation to a world in desperate need of their heavenly Father! However, we understand that while spiritual needs are of the utmost importance, the Bible says we must take care of the physical needs of those we long to save to the best of our ability. So, in addition, we are committed to distributing much-needed resources to our community as they are donated, including:
Pots/pans, small appliances, food, clothing/shoes, furniture, toys, etc.
We, as conditions allow, also have periodic physical gatherings to cook food and fellowship, while keeping the unity of the Spirit to enrich lives and encourage all who wish to come. The purpose is to build community and learn to rely on each other as we trust in God for our daily lives and in whatever we may need as individuals or together as a group.

Donation Raffle
We are so glad to be able to serve our community. But none of what we currently do nor the exciting opportunities to grow our ability to serve would be possible without God and your support. So we have put together a donation raffle that we think will help our community tremendously while giving you an opportunity to receive something in return. All we ask is that you donate whatever you can to Anchored In Love to help support us in our mission.
Appropriate donations include but are not limited to:
Gift cards/cash, canned goods/dry foods, male and female hygiene products such as deodorant, toothbrush/toothpaste/mouth wash, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, feminine products, cooking utensils, clothing/shoes, unopened non-expired over the counter medications such as Tylenol, Ibuprofen, allergy medication, cold & flu meds, etc.
If you are not sure if what you have to give is appropriate, you may contact us to make an inquiry.
Once donations are received, you will be given a raffle ticket and entered into the raffle to win a prize. Winners will be announced at the beginning of each month. We look forward to serving with you.
Skyler is a current resident of Aiken, South Carolina. He is a minister and worship leader at Full Gospel Praise and Deliverance Center. He is the founder of Anchored In Love mission. He loves God, his family, music, writing and teaching the Bible.
His wife Nicole Garza is the mother of their two beautiful boys, Raiden and Ira. She loves her family and enjoys helping people in need and envisioning ways to meet people where they are however she can in their time of need. She also loves music and movies and trying to make her husband laugh.

Typhany is a current resident of New Ellenton, South Carolina. She is a member of Foreman Memorial Baptist church. She is a Bible teacher at Anchored In Love mission. She loves God, her family, singing, dancing, gardening, crocheting and teaching the Bible.
– Typhany Nordeen
Phyllis is first and foremost, the mother of Typhany Nordeen and the grandmother of Skyler Mitcham. She has done an awesome job mentoring and teaching them both on how to love and cherish one another with the love of Christ. She also loves to help others however she can, having the biggest heart for people. She loves God, her family and doing whatever she can to contribute. She enjoys music, movies, or a funny video to cheer someone up.
